Coach Marshall states, "I'm most excited for the spiritual growth that I am seeing in our team and how the girls are going to pursue that in light of utilizing their joy and presence to cheer our teams to victory." Both these experienced and lord loving individuals are completely equipped to not only help them lead Valley Christian football and basketball to victory but also win one of their many competitions this year.
Last year Valley Christian Spirit line placed 5
th in Game day competition, so their eyes are set on to tackling three competitions and hopefully succeeding in all of them. This year's Varsity team has 22 members with three swing cheerleaders. This gives them a total of 25 girls cheering their Trojans to huge wins.

The JV team is currently the largest it has ever been at 17 cheerleaders, and it includes a roster of many gifted individuals who help make the team well-rounded and ready to tackle any challenge thrown at them. This JV squad is comprised of sophomores and freshmen, including two sophomores with impressive leaderships skills, Annika Fritzmiller and Liberty Matthews who are ready to lead their squad to cheer on the JV football with lots of spirit and enthusiasm.
This spirit line team is coached by Head Coach, Coach Courtney, who is in her third year of coaching. The team also currently has plenty of standout girls, with Annika Fritzmiller,
Sophie Marlier, and
Brooklyn Gauthier being given the opportunity to swing, participating in both Varsity and JV events. When asking Annika Fritzmiller what she's excited about this season being both a captain and a swing, she said, "I'm excited to experience cheering with different girls and different coaches. I'm also excited to get to know everyone better and build friendships with more people."
These girls have already been working diligently to prepare for their upcoming games. So far, the routine is looking spectacular, and their hard work is evident.
