As January comes to a close, our Valley Christian Spiritline is continuing to wow the crowds with their showstopping routines. This month is setting the tone for the remainder of the season and the girls are focusing on maintaining their positive energy, school spirit, and community.
The overarching goal for January was to finish the season strong! Senior
Eva Turner shared, "The new year has been off to a great start for our team. The team collectively works towards growing spiritually by doing student-led bible studies, prayer before games, and biblical affirmations."
Spiritline has a few different routines they showcase during Valley's basketball games that keep the audience engaged and energized. These performances include Thunderstruck, Bring 'Em Out x Feel This Moment, and a memorable Senior Night routine that was performed during the basketball game on Tuesday, February 4th. This routine highlighted the 8 amazing seniors on the team,

Eva Turner!
A unique aspect of this half of the girls' season is that some of the girls are also involved in soccer along with spiritline. Five girls from the spirtline, including
Libby Juist,
Emma Malmin,
Brielle Hunsaker,
Baylee Horvath and
Tatum Mitchell, split practices between soccer and cheer. Junior
Baylee Horvath said, "Both the soccer team and cheer girls are so supportive as we switch back and forth. I love going from passing with my teammates to on the court stunting with my girls." The girls share that they love that the Valley coaches make is possible for them to participate in both and not miss out on any opportunities!
The spiritline looks forward into the season and are excited to cheer on the boys basketball team as they keep moving forward in state playoffs! Come see the Spiritline in action at the next playoff game.
