Mikayla Marshall has been a teacher at Valley since 2023. She started dancing at two years old and continued dance/cheer until graduating high school. She went to Grand Canyon University where she took a break from cheer, while receiving her bachelors in 2019 and masters in 2023. Her first teaching position came with her first coaching job. She coached cheer at Madrid Middle School in Phoenix from 2020-2022. There her team won their district competition in back-to-back years! Mikayla is looking forward to sharing her love of cheer and dance with the girls, all while encouraging a deeper joy for the Lord through this sport!
