This week the boys Trojan volleyball team took on Seton Catholic and Odyssey Institute in two back-to-back game days. They played their first game against Seton on the 24th traveling to Chandler Prepatory Academy to play in a neutral site. The Trojans played very fiercely keeping the sets neck and neck but ultimately falling short and loosing 0-3.

One very noteworthy player is Brandon Madison ('27) with 4 blocks and 2 kills. Coming back for his third year he says that, "everyone put up a solid fight against seton but one thing we can do better is working on getting to rotations quicker after lost points our team has a lot of potential and im excited to see where we end up."

On March 25th the Trojans traveled back home and took on Odyssey Institute. The Trojans closed it out in 4 sets winning 3-1 and ending Odyssey Institutes 4 game win streak. The Trojans played great having a fierce offense and perfectly responding to Odyssey's ability to pass the ball. Energy was definitely up as the Trojans finally collect their first of many wins for the season. Middle hitter, Madison, said, "We definitely got out of our first game jitters out and got some confidence and put more trust in each other and we when we do that, we are always gonna play our best volleyball."
