Valley Christian Trojans win once again in Flag Football Playing against Arete Prep and winning 31-0.   

This game was a great revenge game since the Trojans lost 0-3 last year against Arete Prep. The seniors and returning players really wanted the win and they definitely got it. 

The offense was on point with Sydney Paschich (16) scoring 7 points, and displaying some amazing kicks. The offense shone brightly with several other players scoring 6 points, with Abi Trillo (29) leading the offense towards the end zone multiple times. 

The Trojan defense was also very strong, not letting Arete Prep reach the 50-yard line throughout the whole game. Charis Barret (26) commanded the double team defense, and sophomore Kenzie Hackett (10) fought for 3 crucial flagpole sacks and helped the ladies to dominate their opponent. 

Coach Barrett shared how proud he was of both offensive and defensive ends and highlighted how the offense started and finished strong - led by productive WR Performances from Kahiwa and Rylan Ernst with 10 big catches and passing from Abi Trillo - finishing with a 31-0 decisive victory. 

Coach Sterling commented on outstanding performances by many players but offered honorable mentions to both Alana Cross (22) and Emery Trevathan (34) on their clutch performances.  

"Those ladies came up with two big time 3rd down catches in the second half to keep the ball going down the field."  

He continued to rave about how each and every player showed up in some of their best performances of the season.  

The Trojans hope to keep the momentum going on their next two road games against Madison Highland (Oct. 2) and Gilbert Christian (Oct. 14).
