The Valley Christian baseball team defeated Florence in the first round of playoffs, 8-1. 

Spencer Seigworth threw 5 shutout innings in the win. TJ Oster and Jack Kelly paced the offense with a homerun a piece. 

The Trojans will take on ALA Gilbert North in the second round this Tuesday and look to continue their state title hopes.
