Lady Trojans rolling through season with 3 games in 4 days

1/26/2026 9:18:00 AM

The Girls have been cruising through this season and with it almost nearing the end, every win counts so much more. The girls played 3 important games in a 4-day stretch and it was eventful to say the least.

To start off, the girls took a long trip on the road to Thatcher. The girls took over and won 60-40 bumping their winning streak up to 4 straight games. Abby Grier led the charge with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 steals. When asked about what effect the road trip had she mentioned, "everyone was tired and sick but I'm glad we found a way to win."

The very next day, the girls came home to face off against the Snowflake Lobos. The Trojans fell short to the 19-1 Lobos who are one of the best teams in 3a in a tough 36-51 loss. Despite the loss Ellie Phillips put up an impressive 25 points, when asked about the game, senior Ellie Phillips said, "we learned that we can hang with a really good team and we have a lot of things we can work on."

The girls then took on Rancho Solano and posted up a big 50-45 win to round off this hectic weekend. Abby Grier put up an outstanding 27 points, while another key factor to the win was Addison Krupnik grabbing 12 rebounds. When Addison was asked about the win she mentioned, "we kept our composure when we faced adversity and we pulled out the win."

The Trojan's have had quite the season, but they continue to roll through and take each contest one game at a time. As they look to playoffs in a couple of weeks, the girls will do whatever it takes to reach their ultimate end goal.
