On September 25^th, 2025, the Valley Christian Swim and Dive team had a meet hosted at the Goodyear City Pool by Trivium Prep.

One of our very own athletes Abby Husa states, "My favorite strokes are breaststroke and freestyle and my best even would be the 200 freestyle." This shows the true passion this team has for their sport. Abby Husa's best event is most definitely the 200 freestyle with a personal record of 2:29.

Although they did not win, the Trojan swimmers demonstrated outstanding worth ethic and drive. When asked what the most challenging part is of being on the swim team, Ella Boehler explains, "The most challenging thing is probably when I do something wrong mid race and I know I am going to get disqualified."  The next meet is October 16^th  and it will be be another great opportunity for the Trojans to show off their skills and talents.

Liam Haake, one of our incredible athletes has a 26 second 50-yard freestyle, as well as a 500-yard freestyle of 6:10. Stay tuned to see him, along with our other athletes, fight to earn more personal records.
