The Trojan Girls Track and Field team had an amazing season this year. The girls placed third at the Division IV State Meet, placing even better than last year! They had a final score of 75 points, tying for 3^rd with ALA West Foothills, and only falling behind the 2^nd place spot by 1 point! The girls worked together and gave it their all at the meet and had a great finish as a team.

Here are a few of the athletes who not only made it to State, but also helped earn points toward the 3^rd place finish:

• Isabella Goldman ('26) – Bella qualified in the 100 hurdles and finished in 5^th place with a time of 16.42 seconds. She also was a part of the 4x100 relay team, who finished with a time of 50.71, taking 7^th place.  
• Iveya Ward ('25) – Iveya placed 7^th in discus, throwing 102-05 meters, reaching a season record. She also placed 7^th in the shot put with a final throw of 32-04.75 meters, earning a PR.  
• Mara Mellberg ('27) – Mara scored a point for the girls team in the 1600 meter race with a time of 5:28.50 and placed 8^th. She was also a part of the 4x800 relay team, placing 3^rd with a time of 9:59.66.
• Lauren Payne ('27) – Lauren beat her own school record in the 800 meters and took 3^rd place with a time of 2.18.21. She was also a part of the 4x800 relay team, placing 3^rd with a time of 9:59.66.
• Ellie Edwards ('26) – Ellie medaled in the girls 1600 and placed 4^th with a time of 5:17.56 she was also a part of the 4x800 relay with a time of 9:59.66, placing 3^rd.  
• Ellie Phillips ('26) – Ellie scored points for the girls in the 1600, running a time of 5:28 and placing 7^th. She also ran the girls 4x800 relay with a time of 9.59.66, placing 3^rd.
• Rylee Randleman ('26) – Rylee placed 6^th in the triple jump with a distance of 33-04.00.
• Raegan Randleman ('27) – Raegan ran in the girls 1600 and ran a time of 5:37, placing 19^th.  
• Our Pole vault team crushed it, finishing 1, 3, 4, 5.
• Averi White ('27) – Averi won for Pole Vault by over a foot with 11-01.00 meters, earning a PR as well.
• Brooke Gillis ('26)- Brooke scored 3^rd in pole vault with a measurement of 10-00.00.
• Zoey Anderson ('27) - Zoey scored 4^th in pole vault with a measurement of 10-00.00.
• Londyn Womack ('26) finished 5^th in the Pole Vault with a final jump of 10-00.00.
• Ariana Maurer ('25) – Ariana was a part of the girls 4x100 team with a time of 50.71,  placing 7^th.   
• Shayah Kubat ('26) – Shayah ran in the girls 4x100 with a time of 50.71 seconds and placed 7^th.
• Alana Cross (10^th) – Alana ran in the girls 4x100 with a time of 50.71 seconds, placing 6^th.

Overall the girls had a great showing and with many young athletes on the team, are looking to finish even better next year.
