After a solid finish in the Pepsi Holiday tournament, the Trojans continued their strong play into December and January. They continued with region play, facing off against Northwest Christian on December 19th, ALA West Foothills on December 21st, Globe on January 7th, Seton Catholic on January 10th, and Coolidge on January 14th.

They came out on fire against Northwest Christian, dominating the Crusaders 60-25. Everyone played really well during this game and the girls came together and showed what it looks like to play like a team. Senior Bella Ferrara shared, "Everyone played super well. We played as a team and showed what it's like to be united on and off the court."

After the dominating win against Northwest Christian, the girls played against ALA West Foothills. This game was very fast paced and, despite being down by 12, the team pulled out many great moments, resulting in a comeback for the Trojans. They finished the game strong, winning 64-50 against the Guardians. Senior Ariana Mauer had 7 rebounds against the Guardians. She reflected, "This game was critical in helping us become a stronger team. We had a bad first half but kept our emotions in control and came out on top with a big win."

The Trojans continued their hot streak against their next opponent. They beat the Globe Tigers 102-19. This game was a great opportunity to gain momentum for their next two very competitive games. Sophomore Abby Grier had 26 points and 8 assists, while sophomore Charis Sellars had 12 rebounds in the match up. Chairs mentioned, "We found a way to work together and it payed off. We also got to 100 points, which was pretty cool too! I am very proud of how hard our team worked."

The Lady Trojans then had two very hard region games against the Seton Catholic Sentinels and the Coolidge Bears. They defeated both these teams by playing hard until the very end. They beat Seton Catholic 50-46, then the girls beat Coolidge 38-35 with an electric buzzer beater by junior Ellie Phillips at the end. Phillips led on the court with 19 points against Seton and 18 points against Coolidge, while senior Iveya Ward had a total of 17 rebounds in these two games. Ellie reflected, "I am glad we had two closer games back-to-back where we were able to compete more. I think our team became better and learned a lot in these games. I am glad we were able to pull out a win for both of these close games"
