The Valley Christian Beach Volleyball team played the ALA Gilbert North Eagles on Monday, taking a 4-1 win. This win allowed them to advance to the next round in state, taking them to Flagstaff where they faced the Coconino Panthers on Wednesday.
In Flagstaff, the Trojans saw their hardest competition yet. The 4's and 5's teams were able to win over their opponents, however, the 2's and 3's teams were unable to close their games. The 1's team took the Panthers to three sets and were able to beat them with a close finish.
The Trojans will play the Chandler Prep Titians at Casteel High School on May 11th in hopes of advancing to state.
