Last Friday the varsity girls basketball team played Arizona College Prep at home where they took their sixth win of the season with a final score of 30-23.

The ACP Knights put up a good fight but were no match for the Trojans offense. Josie Bagley ran a solid offense and defense, earning 18 points and 4 steals by the end of the game.

The JV girls also played Friday night against American Leadership Academy - Ironwood with their highest score of the season of 48-6. They were able to prevent the Warriors from scoring with a tight defense and widened the gap by consistently putting up shots.

Varsity also had a game Saturday against Pusch Ridge. They earned a well earned win against a very aggressive team. Both Kendahl Moodie and Michela Barbanente had questionable fouls called on them early on, resulting in foul trouble for both by the first half. Despite this, they continued to play aggressive defense, playing an important part in the Trojans' 29-26 win.
