The Valley Christian volleyball team takes on the Northwest Christian Crusaders. The Trojans are excited to take on the Crusaders. Last year when they played it was a close match with the Trojans winning 3-2. In the first set the Trojans took it away with a score of 25-18. In the second set it was a close set with a score of 25-22 but the Trojans earned the W. The next 2 sets the Crusaders beat the Trojans with a score of 25-18 and a close set of 25-23. The Trojans ultimately took home the match in the 4th set with a score of 15-9.

The Trojans are excited to take on a good opponent and have a good match. The volleyball team has many star players returning who includes Sadie Wahlin, Sydney Simon, Ellie Gregg, Elyse Wolf, and Ansley Venkatesh who all who were apart of the state championship team. The Trojans have some new faces on the team now that can have a significant impact on our team. Transfer Grace Lottich is a junior who has stepped up and has been helping the Trojans win games. Kaelin Walls is a newcomer to varsity who has also helped out the team a lot. Kaydence Hirsch is also new to valley and is the only freshman on varsity.

With this strong team the Trojans are looking forward to the rest of this season and becoming back to back state champions.
