The Valley Christian Trojans closed out their regular season in dominant fashion, earning convincing victories over Crismon (4A) and Florence to secure a 13-1 record in conference play – good enough to bypass the play-in round and head straight into the postseason.

Makay Fraley ('27) delivered a masterclass in the circle, striking out 14 batters in a complete game shutout to lead the Trojans to a 7-0 win over the Crismon Rattlers. Fraley allowed just four hits and walked two in seven innings of work, also contributing offensively with a sacrifice bunt that scored a run.
The Trojans broke the game open with a four-run sixth inning, highlighted by freshman
Maddy Harmon's bases-clearing triple.
Ryann Nelson ('27) got the Trojans on the board early with an RBI double in the first, while
Abrielle Jarles ('26) added an RBI single in the third. Jarles also swiped two bases and helped fuel an error-free defensive effort that included a key double play.
Leigha Kremlacek ('27),
Lo Colvin ('28), and
Amelia Bowman ('27) each tallied two hits in the win. Bowman was a defensive standout collecting 15 putouts from her position behind the plate.
Valley Christian carried that momentum into Monday's regular-season finale at Florence, where the Trojans overwhelmed the Gophers 17-0 behind a relentless offensive onslaught and a strong pitching performance by Kremlacek.
Colvin was a perfect 3-for-03 at the plate, racking up three singles and two RBIs. The Trojans exploded for six runs in the second inning and five more in the fourth, with offensive contributions from nearly every player in the lineup.

Taya Clausen ('25), Harmon, Kremlacek, and Nelson all drove in runs while
Sisi Kercsmar ('27), Clausen, Harmon, and Jarles each drew two walks as part of the team's 10 free passes.
Kremlacek allowed just one hit and struck out six over four shutout innings to earn the win.
With a 13-1 conference record, Valley Christian enters the postseason on a high note, skipping the play-in game and looking poised to make a deep run.
