After a tough tournament at the Battle of Ironwood, the team regained its focus, winning three of their next four games. The Trojans faced four opponents between December 9th and January 13th. Their one loss was a tough game against Seton Catholic in a 3A Metro Region match. Nevertheless, the Trojans came barreling through their other three opponents.
On December 9th, the team faced American Leadership Academy – Ironwood. The Trojans came away with the victory in a 5-2 game. ALA was a well-coached, organized team who pushed the Trojans to play their best so that they could come away with the win. Sophomore goalie,
Catherine Slyter (10 saves), did a great job in holding ALA to only two goals. Sophomore
Raegan Randleman connected for one goal and senior
Abigail Stipp led the Trojan attack, tallying four goals.
December 11th was another great shutout for the girls soccer team. The Trojans went head-to-head with Apache Junction and came out on top in the end 5-0. The Valley Christian offense was equally distributed, as five different players scored goals. Freshman

Layla Heller with each girl getting an assist to help create four of the five goals. Sophomore
Catherine Slyter played an impressive game in goal, finishing with a clean sheet in the shutout.
On January 9th, the Trojans then faced Seton Catholic. This was a tough loss for the Trojans especially since it was on their home turf. The final score was 1-3 with only one of the Trojan athletes being able to score. The only goal was tallied by senior
Abigail Stipp.
January 13th was a striking win for the Trojans. They were up against Tonopah Valley, it was certainly a rough game for their competitors. With a decisive score of 16-0, the Trojans took the victory undeniably. Stipp and Macedo scored four goals each, Paschich and Hunsaker added two goals each and sophomores Madison Lewis and
Tatum Mitchell, junior
Baylee Horvath, and Randleman each scored one goal. The Valley defensive line played a great game as well, working well with Slyter in goal to keep Tonopah Valley scoreless.
