The Varsity Boys' Soccer team is traveling over to Benjamin Franklin this Friday and Saturday. On Friday they are going against San Tan Foothills (9:45 - 11:30 AM) and St. John Paul ll (2:45-4:30 PM). On Saturday they will battle ALA – West Foothills (1:30-3:15 PM) and Ben Franklin (7:45 – 9:30 PM). Tickets will be $10 a day to watch both games in cash, $5 for Students/Seniors 65+/Military, and free for 10 and under.
The Trojans are currently learning about what keeps them motivated during the tough times. Coach Paul Barker states, "As Christians, God provides the motivation to endure". The Trojans are starting the season with determination and eagerness to win state.
Carson Rowe, a Varsity player and a junior at Valley, says that "the soccer team has great chemistry, and hopefully it propels us to winning the tournament. However, we are also looking to try out some new tactics and techniques in order to help us further down the line."
