This Season I'm Looking Forward To: Being a captain and leading my team as a sisterhood and a light for Christ.
Favorite Career Memory: My favorite memory was definitely our cheer retreat last year. We took what was supposed to be a shortcut and ended up being an almost 5 hour drive back along with many other difficulties!
Advice to Underclassmen: Be bold!!! People are going to look up to you if you step out first. Just trust God because he’s got you!
I Hope to Leave a Legacy Of: Being a light for our team:) I hope the underclassmen look up to the captains, including myself, and understand that it’s not about the title, it’s about being a light for Jesus and leading your team to being atmosphere shifters.
Thanks To: A big, huge thanks to Coach Lisa and Coach Mikayla! Not only were these amazing ladies the best coaches ever, but also two of my biggest spiritual mentors in my life. I couldn’t thank them enough for pushing me to be the best version of myself. Another thanks to my sweet mom. Thank you for always being there for me, sticking up for me, loving me when it’s hard to, and being the most supportive and loving role model in my life. I couldn’t imagine my life without you momma. :)
