Favorite Verse: Proverbs 3:5-6
Random Fact About Me: I have no appendix.
Favorite Thing About Valley: The community of people and all the loving teachers. Everyone at Valley is so welcoming and truly shines Jesus' light. I love all the teachers and the support they give and I have truly made lifelong friends. You can be involved in so many things and build such a community.
This Year I'm Looking Forward To: The class of 2024 fulfilling their goals for this school year. I am also excited for the privileges seniors get like senior kickoff, last first day of school and last football games. Also for my last high school swim season.
Favorite Career Memory: Sophomore year when I swam the 400 free relay with Kendall Alexander, Sage Roth, and Kyla Norris. We got a PR that race and also placed 2nd over all in DIII Swim & Dive state.
Advice To Underclassmen: I would say to just have a good attitude and have fun. Having a bad attitude makes things feel so much longer and it doesn't help you or your teammates grow and get better. Also get to know your team, your teammates will become some of your best friends and you will have such a good time with them while also glorifying God and doing your sport for Him.
I Hope To Have A Legacy Of: Having a good attitude and working hard. I hope this is encouraging to others to have a good attitude and work hard because it helps you grow as an athlete as well as a person
.
Thanks To: I would like to thank my parents for coming to every single swim meet since I was 9 years old, while also always cheering me on in any thing I do. I also want to thank my coach's. Natalie Denk, she has helped me grow into the person/swimmer I am today, she inspired me to work hard while also pushing me to work hard. Steve Mancuso, Coach Steve has helped me become a swimmer, he has taught me everything I know and has also helped me grow as an athlete as well as pushing me to get better. Coach Rocky Arredondo, he has also helped me become the swimmer I am, he has taught me everything I know while also being so encouraging and helping me reach my goals. Coach Haley, thank you for helping me get better and teaching me what a super 500 is. Thank you for always being there for me (even with my injures) and still helping me improve and get better. Last, but not least, Coach Justin and Vance, two amazing godly men who lead so well and who are so encouraging. I always love walking into practice and these two just have a smile on their face, they are so encouraging and shine Jesus.
