This Friday, September 19, Valley Christian will face the Crismon Rattlers at the Benson football field.
So far, our Valley Christian Trojans have a record of 4-0, even becoming the first team in Arizona to accomplish this undefeated record. They are hoping to keep up this momentum in the next game and secure another victory. On the other hand, Crismon currently has a record of 2-2, but all of their games have been relatively close. With the comparison of these records, the Trojans have good competition going into the game.
Senior RB,
Caleb Goldman, has had outstanding game performances, averaging 163.8 rushing yards per game. Along with Caleb, WR
Asher Hanzal has been moving the offense down the field with 56 receiving yards per game. This has given the offense a major boost and has been a defining reason as to why we have scored numerous touchdowns in previous games.
Not only has the Trojan offense stood out, but the defense has been displaying their skills as well. LB
Hudson Pickett current leads the team with 9.8 tackles per game followed closely by
Kristian Schoenhals with 5.5 tackles per game. In terms of interceptions which have helped get a lot of turnovers this season,
Noah Lewis and
Kristian Schoenhals are tied for 3 interceptions.
The Crismon Rattlers' stats showcase that they are a well-rounded team, with 88.5 rushing yards per game and 84.3 receiving yards per game. They are a good match for our Valley Christian Trojans, and the game should be an enticing one to watch.
We are looking forward to seeing Valley Christian show off their skills, God given talents, and hopefully come back with a win. Be sure to show out and dress in your jersey to Cheer on your Valley Christian Trojans.
