The Valley Christian Trojans took control early and never looked back Friday night, rolling past the Dysart Demons 38–13 in a game that showcased their balance, depth, and big-play ability on both sides of the ball.
Quarterback Austin Schuder ('27) set the tone, throwing for 191 yards and two touchdowns while also picking up key yards on the ground. In the backfield, Caleb Goldman ('26) powered the offense with 125 rushing yards on 13 carries and a touchdown, continuing his monster season. Goldman now ranks third in the state overall and first in 3A for rushing yards, proving he's one of the premier backs in Arizona.
Schuder spread the ball around through the air, with Asher Hanzal ('26) hauling in four receptions for 69 yards and two touchdowns, extending his school records. Caden Palmquest ('28) was just as explosive, scoring two touchdowns on the ground and adding 70 yards on five receptions to round out a well-rounded Trojan attack.
On defense, Valley Christian made sure the Demons never found their rhythm. Noah Lewis ('27) grabbed an interception to halt a Dysart drive, while Kristian Schoenhals ('26) broke up two passes, locking down the secondary and closing off any chances of a comeback.
By halftime, the Trojans had already built a 28–7 cushion, and Dysart couldn't climb back. Every time the Demons tried to rally, Valley Christian responded with another scoring drive or a defensive stand.
With the win, the Trojans improve to 4–0 on the season, continuing to live up to the hype. This team isn't just winning — they're winning convincingly, and they're making it clear that Valley Christian football is a force to be reckoned with.
