The Trojans waltzed into Seton Catholic looking for some revenge from last season. The boys fell 14-40 in their last matchup, and they did all they could to make sure that history does not repeat itself. Senior,
Kristian Schoenhals, when asked about what this game meant to the team, he mentioned that "This game has been on our minds ever since the loss last year, and we needed to prove that we are a better team, and we did just that."
The boys took over this battle, and they could not have done it without their quarterback, Austin Shruder. Shruder took control of this game by rushing for 166 yards adding 3 rushing touchdowns while passing for an incredible 250 yards and throwing 3 touchdowns as well. When asked about his performance he said, " I couldn't do it without my great line and receiving core."
The team came out on top with a score of 48-38, propelling their record to 6-1. The Trojans have a bye-week next week and are looking to prepare for their homecoming game against Odyssey Institute. They show no signs of slowing down and are going to continue to be fun to watch for the rest of the season.
