Valley Christian hosted the VCS Boys Basketball Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday November 25th and Saturday November 26th. Valley Christian swept the competition, winning all four of their tournament games. The first was against St. John Paul II, in which we won 95-20. The second game was another easy victory against Sierra Linda and the final score was 80-33. The third and fourth games were played on Saturday, the third was against ALA Queen Creek, which we won 92-50. The fourth and final game for the tournament winner was versus Highland Prep. The Trojans won the game 82-65 and won the tournament altogether.
Junior Luke Shaw, the leading scorer quotes, "It was good to build some team chemistry in the tournament."
Senior Cooper Somora said, "The competition wasn't very high but our intensity was and we played good."
The Trojans are looking forward to another great season and are off to a strong start.
