As the season is ending, the Trojans are gearing up for the last game of the regular season against the Fountain Hill Falcons. Even though it is the last game of the regular season, this game is very important to both teams. Whatever team comes away with the victory on Thursday night will finish in first place in the 3A Metro East Region. With a win for the Trojans, they will secure the region and head into the playoffs strong. As for Fountain Hills, they need to win the region to have a shot of getting into the playoffs. 

With the new rankings coming out this past Tuesday, your Trojans have jumped a spot up to number 6 in 3A. The Fountain Hill Falcons have taken a massive leap backwards, going from 18th to 24th, so this game will be crucial for the rest of the Falcon's season.  

Senior Christian Bell commented on this being his last regular season game, "It's crazy how this is it for me. I'm going to play and then it's going to be over for the regular season. But after the game, we will focus on the playoffs." This will be the last regular season game for a large number of the Trojan football team, as the 23 seniors will be leaving the program next year. 

When asked about his thoughts on the upcoming game tonight, Senior Jackson Fuller said, "It will be a very competitive game, being their last game of their season, so we are expecting them to come out strong, but we have been preparing all week for them." 

When talking about the Fountain Hill Falcons team, Senior Cade Accomazzo said, "We are not going to underestimate our opponent. We have worked our hardest with the short week that we have had. They are going to play as hard as possible knowing that there only shot of getting into the playoffs is with a win tonight." 

The game will be starting at 7 pm at Fountain Hills High School. Be there to support your Trojans tonight with the region on the line!
