This is Trisha’s 1st year coaching in the Girls Basketball Program. She grew up in the Midwest in Pontiac, Michigan. She attended Allegany College in Pennsylvania where she played on the Women's Basketball team. After an injury during the summer before sophomore year, Trisha transferred to Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where she received a B.S. in Elementary Education. She and her husband, Irving have lived in the Phoenix area since 2005. They have been married for 22 years and have four children; Isaac (VC alum, Class of '23), Myles ('26), Lila ('28), Aubrey ('32).
“Over the past few decades, I’ve had the opportunity to coach junior high school basketball and volleyball teams and several youth YMCA basketball teams. Now that my kids are older, I am grateful for the opportunity to help join the Valley Christian Girls Basketball Program as an assistant coach. My two boys played for Valley and my two younger girls will follow in the coming years. Being able to coach, serve and encourage young people alongside other like-minded individuals has been a huge blessing.”
