Coach Sullivan started his coaching career at Valley Christian in 2006, serving as the Freshman Boys Basketball Head Coach, JV Baseball Assistant Coach, and finishing as the Varsity Baseball Head Coach in 2017. He is returning to the VC coaching staff in 2025 to help with baseball once again.
Coach Sully attended Mesa Mountain View High School, then went on to earn a BFA from Arizona State University. He coached high school basketball for 10 years at Valley Christian and has coached high school baseball for 19 years between Valley Christian, Horizon Honors, Tempe Prep, and Benjamin Franklin. .
He is married to Betsy and has two sons who are both VC alumni, Patrick ('10), who played baseball, and Andrew ('12), who played baseball, basketball, and ran track.
Outside of coaching, Coach Sullivan enjoys fishing, travel, art, and serving at Family Bible Church as a Deacon.
He shared, "I am looking forward to helping these students with their journey in athletics and becoming men of God."
