Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Played high school track, golf, and football and graduated in May 2002. By August of 2002, Brent was in Marine Corp bootcamp, by January of 2003 he was in Kuwait, and by February he was in Iraq. His career in the Marines was ended by a serious knee injury, so he came back to the States and studied Psychology, then took the opportunity to study to be a Golf Pro. Snipes started coaching at VC in 2015 and provides great support for the football, wrestling, and track programs. Snipes is married to Kerianne and has four kids: Ryder, Maddox (9th), Brayden, and Skye. Coach Snipes’ biggest passion is teaching the kids to fight for something more than themselves.
