Scott started his coaching career at Valley Christian with the boys football program where he served for 10 years. During this time, Scott was the Defensive Coach and VC earned two state championships, one in 2005 and one in 2009.
He took over the golf team in 2013 and immediately saw the need to start a JV team to help grow the sport and give an opportunity for beginners to learn the game of golf. Scott then recruited his wife Pam in 2014 to head up the JV program. Since taking over the golf program, the Trojans have earned an impressive 6 State Championships in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 & 2019 and 2 runner-up trophies in 2017 & 2021.
Coach Scott and Coach Pam enjoy playing golf together and sharing their passion for the game. They will be married 39 years in May 2023. They have 4 grown children that attended and graduate from Valley - Kayle ('05), Nick ('07), Brock ('09) & Zach ('11) and have 5 granddaughters.
