Random Fact About Me: I'm always in the mood for a smoothie or a good acai bowl, I could literally eat one everyday in the summer.
My Favorite Thing About Valley:Â The culture, teachers, and community are all amazing parts, but also I love that we are encouraged to be involved and that I can do all the things I love with all my friends.
This Season I'm Looking Forward To:Â Winning a state championship for volleyball and enjoying my senior year of volleyball.
Favorite Career Memory:Â My favorite memory and funniest memory was when Claire went up to hit a ball during a game and completely hit it under the net and hit a girl on the other side! I also love that every time someone gets a good kill or point Madi runs at them and basically tackles them in excitement or she high-fives your hand really hard and it really hurts!
Advice to Underclassmen: It’s not always about being the best on the team but truly about how you can be an encouragement and a leader on the court. Realize that making mistakes are okay and they should be what fuels you to work harder. In the end, the Lord should get all the glory for every pass, set, or kill because he ultimately gave you the gift to play this amazing sport.
I Hope to Leave a Legacy of: Having Christ be the center of the game and the center of my life. He is the one who is working through me on and off the court and He is the ultimate reason I’m where I am today. I hope my life is a testimony of the light of the Lord working in my life towards others.
Thanks to: I want to give the biggest thanks to my family first, my mom has done and organized so much, not only for me but for the team, and the fact that my whole family comes to support all my games. Second, I want to thank my teammates as I have loved every moment playing with them and there is never a dull moment when I'm with them. It's such a blessing to play with a team who all love Christ. Third, I want to thank my coaches as they have given me opportunities to grow and be better, but also they are a big reason our team puts Christ first in every practice and game. Lastly, I want to thank the Lord as I would not be were I am without Him, He has done so much for me through volleyball and in every aspect of my life. All the glory goes to God!
