Bio:

Coach Bob is currently in his 11th year coaching volleyball. Coach Bob was named the Boys Volleyball Head Coach in November of ’22 and led the Trojans to a .714 winning percentage and a 4A State Tournament invitation in the 2023 inaugural Boys Volleyball Season. The team continued their success in the Spring of 2024, reaching the 4A State Play-In Match.

Since the fall of 2021, Coach Bob has also served as an assistant coach for the Girls Volleyball and Beach Volleyball programs, playing a crucial role in the 2021 Indoor State Championship victory and the 2022 and 2023 State Championship wins for Beach Pairs Volleyball. During his first two seasons coaching the VCS Girls JV Indoor team, he led them to an impressive 27-5 record. In addition to his ongoing support for the Girls Indoor Volleyball Team, Coach Bob serves as the Director of Volleyball Operations for VCS.

Before joining VCS, Coach Bob was the Head Coach for the Gethsemane Gators, where he secured five consecutive titles in the AZ Lutheran Junior High School Conference.

Coach Bob's commitment to volleyball extends to his family, with his daughter, Megan (’20), playing NCAA volleyball at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.

Beyond the court, Coach Bob has served the VCS community as Vice-Chair and Treasurer on the Board of Directors. An Arizona native, he & his wife (Michelle), reside in Chandler. Professionally, Coach Bob is also the President of a Chandler based Software Company serving the automotive industry.
