This is Lynn’s 8th season as the Varsity Girls Head Soccer Coach. Lynn first got the taste of coaching as a senior in high school when she was asked to coach the freshman basketball team. She quickly learned how much she enjoyed coaching just as much as being a player. A three-sport athlete in high school, with soccer being her favorite, she knew that one day she wanted the opportunity to coach at the high school level. She has coached all levels of soccer since 2004 and after receiving her Advanced Coaching Certificate, decided to coach at the Club level, which she did for 5 years. During that time the opportunity came to coach the varsity team here at VCS. “I absolutely love to pour into the lives of young women. Not just to help grow them in the sport I love, but to help them realize their potential as young women of Christ. I consistently tell the girls that they were not created to be mediocre! I love using this sport to help mentor young women to understand their full potential and who they can strive to be in life. These lessons can be invaluable if we allow them to teach us! I am incredibly thankful for another opportunity to be part of the Valley Christian Women’s soccer program and I am looking forward to a successful season with an incredible group of young women athletes!”
