Coach Addison Bare ('10) is a VC alum and was a part of Trojan football as a player ('07-'09) and Trojan track & field ('07-'10). He then went on to compete in track & field at the collegiate level at Mesa Community College ('10-'12) before graduating from NAU in 2016. He is currently a social studies teachers at Valley Christian Schools Junior High.
Coach Bare has been coaching both football and track for several years. Most notably he served at VC as the Long Jump and Triple Jump Coach ('12), the Varsity Running Backs Coach/JV Offensive Coordinator at Douglas High School ('18), and now serves as the OLB's Coach for Trojan Football ('24).
Addison has been married to Emily Bare, Gonzaga Law School Grad, since 2020. Coach Addison's siblings also attended Valley, Chandler ('13) and Gracie ('17) and his parents, Mark and Char, have been long time Valley Christian volunteers and board members. Outside of coaching Addison enjoys traveling and doing photography. When he is not traveling he enjoys watching sports, working out, or hiking.
Coach Bare shares, "there is nothing I enjoy more than being around athletics and helping young students work toward accomplishing their goals and becoming better people on and off the field. My coaches poured a ton into me and I look forward to doing the same at a school that meant so much to me."
