Favorite Bible verse and why: My favorite verse is John 16:33. It says “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." I like this verse because it emphasizes how God never guaranteed an easy life, but despite that we can take comfort in knowing that Jesus overcame everything and is waiting for us in heaven.
