Coach LaGatta grew up in California and played football at UC Davis, where he graduated with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Religion. Coach LaGatta moved his family from California to Arizona and in 2019 started to help coach two of his sons through the VCS baseball program, Vinnie LaGatta (‘20) and Bagel LaGatta (‘21). Vinnie now plays baseball for Pacific University after finishing two years with Central Arizona College, where he was part of the 2022 NJCAA National Championship team. Bagel is currently living in Arizona, head coaching our VCJH baseball team as well as assisting the high school team. Vince’s youngest daughter, Jacqui, is a senior at VCS and was one of the “originals” to start the Valley Christian Junior High. Coach LaGatta is married to "the most wonerful lady ever", Ally, and together they have been consistent supporters of VCS in many areas through the years.
Coach Vince has been coaching baseball at VC since 2019. Vince “loves being with the guys and their passion for the game.”
